A private party stays private, and what Confettine knows about you fits in a few lines.

Audience measurement and cookies

To understand which pages are useful and improve the service, Confettine uses Google Analytics (GA4). It sets audience-measurement cookies (the _ga family, kept for 13 months at most) that count visits. IP addresses are anonymized and Google advertising signals are turned off. No other cookies are used, and the site runs no targeted advertising.

You can switch this measurement off for your device at any time, in one click. Your choice is stored locally and no Google script loads anymore.

The data you entrust to us

If you create an invitation: your page's content (title, text, date, venue) and, if you provide it, your email (used only to send you your links and the reply summary). If you reply to an invitation: the name you enter, your reply and your optional note, visible only to the organizer and to people who have the page's link.

Where and for how long

Data is hosted in the European Union (Germany) and is neither sold nor shared with third parties. Invitation pages are not indexed by search engines and their addresses are not guessable. A truncated, hashed IP address is kept temporarily for abuse protection (rate limiting).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification or deletion of your data (a whole invitation page, or just your reply): write to [email protected] from the address concerned, or with the link to the page in question.
